What will your personal chef do?
Meeting and interview. I'll ask you to fill out a questionnaire about your likes, dislikes, and dietary needs. Then we'll get together to go over your information and create your personal meals service goals. We'll talk about any dietary restrictions or allergies you may have or any specifics you want in your plan. If you are maintaining a gluten-free, vegetarian, Paleo, low-carb, and/or any other diet or have specific dietary restrictions and requests, those requirements will be incorporated into your plan.
Tailored menu planning. Based on your dietary needs and our conversation, I'll create a customized menu for you. You will be able to review and approve the menu prior to each cook date to give a thumbs-up or thumbs-down on any of the items included.
Grocery shopping. I will find and purchase the best quality ingredients for your meals. Produce, dairy, and meat products can be organic as per your preferences.
In home meal prep. I'll bring the groceries and supplies to your home to prepare your meals.
Storage, labeling, clean up. Your meals will be labeled with reheating/serving instructions and stored in your refrigerator or freezer, ready for you to eat at your convenience. Your kitchen will be cleaned up after meals are prepared and stored.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
You pay for your groceries plus my time. Packages of services are totally flexible and tailored to each client's needs and requests. In Washington state I am required by law to charge sales tax on both groceries and cooking time in the client's home (8.7% in Kitsap County).
A one-hour plan/prep/shop fee of $25 (untaxed) will also be added to your total fee for each cook date.
EXAMPLES OF PACKAGES
3 entrees and sides of 4 servings each (12 servings) = $180 plus groceries, sales tax and $25 plan/prep fee
2 entrees and sides of 4 servings each (8 servings), plus one breakfast item of 4 servings = $160 plus groceries, sales tax and $25 plan/prep fee
Snacks or breakfast items = $10, plus groceries and sales tax
